My Design Mantra

Hello, I am Rashmi Jwalakumar, a residential and commercial Interior Designer with a serious passion for creating personal, fresh and authentic interiors. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Diploma in Interior Design from University of Mysore, India. I freelanced in India for 5years during which I executed many commercial and residential projects and gained extensive experience in designing and execution.

After marriage, I moved to the United States in 2009 and took a long break after having my twin boys. My passion for designing spaces never faded and I am again loving every bit of actively designing dream spaces for my clients. What's truly extraordinary is that geographical distances pose no obstacle to my creative process. Whether my clients reside in the heart of New York City or the serene landscapes of California, I seamlessly manage projects online, harnessing dedication and technology to bring their visions to life.

Beyond interior design, I derive immense joy from painting, traveling, cooking, music, and reading, all of which serve as wellsprings of inspiration for my work.

However, amidst life's myriad joys, my most significant triumph unfolded in 2022 when I confronted breast cancer. It was a formidable journey, yet it failed to extinguish my spirit. As a survivor, I wear my resilience as a badge of honor, infusing every interior project with gratitude and purpose.
